During the 2008 financial crisis, it became clear to me that traditional portfolio construction often leaves too much uncertainty unresolved. Investors are expected to stay the course but are rarely given tools that make it possible in practice.
The question was not just how to generate returns, but how to define risk and outcomes more clearly in advance, so that decisions are less dependent on reacting under pressure.
The Structured Notes I was being offered by banks and brokers were designed to be sold, not bought. Oasis was built around the opposite idea.

OASIS SWITZERLAND LAUNCHED
Structured Note portfolios begin under Swiss operations.

FIRST AMC LAUNCHED
First Actively Managed Certificate for a family office, co-managed by Oasis.
2015
SECONDARY MARKET FUND LAUNCHED
Oasis Secondary Market Opportunities Fund launched.
2017
ENHANCED YIELD AMC LAUNCHED
Flagship Structured Note strategy launched as an AMC.
2020
ISA LICENCE RECEIVED
Israeli Securities Authority Portfolio Management licence obtained.

FOUNDER
David Tamir
David Tamir has over 19 years of experience in global capital markets. Previously served as CIO of Pioneer Wealth Management, responsible for strategic asset allocation and portfolio construction across client portfolios. Chairman of the investment committee at Afeka College of Engineering. Former guest writer for over eight years in Globes on strategic asset allocation and investment instruments. David holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management from the Technion and an MBA from Tel Aviv University, and is a licensed portfolio manager with the Israel Securities Authority. Served as a Major (res.) in the Israeli Air Force, Air Defense.
INVESTMENT STRATEGIST
Marina Fershter
Marina Fershter has over 20 years of experience in investment management and private client advisory. Joined Oasis in 2024. Previously served as CIO of Pegasus Investment Services AG, and continues to work with the firm as an external relationship management specialist. Earlier roles include Portfolio Manager at Pioneer Wealth Management and Senior Investment Advisor at Bank Leumi Private Banking. Holds a BA in Economics from the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and an MBA (Finance) from Tel Aviv University. Licensed portfolio manager with the Israel Securities Authority (license voluntarily deactivated).
PROJECT MANAGER
Ilana Benzaquen
Ilana Benzaquen has over 10 years of experience across traditional and alternative investments. Joined Oasis in 2024 and is responsible for overseeing strategic initiatives. Previously worked at Profimex, a private equity real estate firm, where she led due diligence processes and managed the negotiation and execution of strategic partnership agreements. Earlier served as a Senior Portfolio Analyst at Pioneer Wealth Management, focusing on ultra-high-net-worth clients and research of financial instruments. Holds a Licentiate Degree in Business Administration & Management from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid.
